1.7 Delete Final Inspection Task Serial Number
Availability:
- This option is available only in the Edit screen of Final Inspection.
- The delete action is intended for removing selected task serial entries from an existing Final Inspection record.
How It Works:
- A checkbox column is displayed for task serial rows in edit mode.
- Users can select one or multiple rows individually.
- A header checkbox is available to select all eligible rows at once.
- The Delete All button becomes enabled only after at least one eligible saved row is selected.
- Deletion is possible only when the Final Inspection Task Serial Number status is NEW.
- Unsaved task serial rows can be removed directly using the trash icon in the row.
Delete Flow:
- For saved rows, select the required rows and click Delete All.
- A confirmation dialog will appear before the deletion is processed.
- After confirmation, the selected task serial numbers are deleted from the Final Inspection entry.
- Once deletion is completed, the batch/task dropdown data is refreshed automatically.
- For unsaved rows, clicking the trash icon removes the row immediately from the screen without calling permanent delete for the Final Inspection record.
Important Notes:
- Only eligible rows can be selected for deletion, based on the current row status configured in the screen logic.
- This action is intended for correcting wrongly added task serial numbers in an existing Final Inspection entry.
- After deletion, users should verify the remaining serial numbers before submitting further changes.
- Saved task serial numbers should be deleted through row selection and Delete All. Unsaved task serial numbers should be removed using the row-level trash icon only.
1.2 Bulk Final Inspection Update
Bulk Upload Mode Toggle:
- In both Add and Edit screens, there is a "Is Bulk Upload Mode" toggle.
- When this toggle is enabled, the form switches to Bulk Update Mode.
Functionality in Bulk Mode:
- A Task Serial section will appear with a "Select All" option.
- Based on the LOT size quantity, users can auto-select serial numbers and update the inspection data in bulk.
- When Bulk Upload Mode is enabled:
- Only bulk updates are allowed (individual entry/approval/rejection is not permitted).
- Normal inspection flow (Approve/Reject) is only available when bulk upload mode is disabled.
- In the Edit screen, you can update both normal and bulk inspection entries.
- In the Generate step (e.g., generating reports or documents), only the serial numbers from normal inspection entries will be shown—bulk-uploaded serial numbers will be excluded.
Handling Large Bulk Updates:
- If you select more than 200 items and try to submit:
- A confirmation message will appear indicating that the process will be handled in the background.
- Once submitted, the system will reload and navigate to the Search screen.
- You will receive an email notification once the background process completes.
- You can then use the Edit screen to review the updated entries.
Summary Email Notification:
- If email configuration is enabled under the Final Inspection config screen, a summary mail will be sent after the bulk update completes.
1.3 Bulk Summary Mail Details

- If email configuration is enabled, the system sends a bulk summary mail after the Final Inspection bulk update is completed.
- This mail is especially useful when a large bulk update is processed in the background.
